Peroxide?
Hey everybody, I made a horrible mistake and accidentally put two males in the same tank during feeding time, which resulted in rather bad fight between the two.... My tremper snow made a little gash(nothing too bad) on my Enigma's head. Hes seems fine. I immediately separated them and made sure he was okay. Hes calmed down and is eating again just fine. I was just wondering if it would be safe to put some peroxide on a q tip and clean the wound? Like I said, it's not bad. I just want to make sure he doesn't get an infection or anything. Thanks in advance!

Peroxide?
You can use peroxide to clean it out and put some neosporin.

Re: Peroxide?
Using Betadine is better than peroxide. It doesn't sting or kill healing tissue like peroxide.

Right there^^^.
Peroxide actually oxidizes tissue, even healthy tissue so, is best reserved for only a few situations.
