    New babies!

Man, I am so in love with these guys!!! My double Rex girl dropped 6 beautiful little ones. I'm probably going to hold them all back Unfortunately her sister lost her first litter of 13, but I have high hopes for the next one.

I have one question for you rat experts, though. One of the babies has what appears to be a herniated umbilical cord. It looks much better now, but has anyone experienced complications with this? Or will he grow up to be a healthy little rat? Sorry for the pics, he's a squirmy little dude.

    New babies!

Update: The one with the hernia is doing just fine. My mother in law laid claim to him, and 'Lumpy' has got to be the sweetest rat ever! He's definitely a pet now lol. He likes to run up the edge of his cage and give kisses. It's upper cute.
