I've been looking for these guys for years now, can't find any, do you guys have tips of where I can find them and when the best times to look for them are? Thank you
We used to have them at my old house... We had caught a starving baby and nursed it until it was ready to be set free
King snake are also abundant there, and so are rattlesnakes. Some day soon I want to go back over there and look for them myself ^^
Go down hwy 78 East, once you get past the small town / city of Julian scan the rocky outcroppings in that area. You can find Rosy Boa, as well as Lampropeltus cali out there once you are around 2-3000 ft in elevation, and find them till just before you break into the desert habitat as you get down to about < 2000' elevation. Then you start getting into sidewinder territory.
