Amphibian environments are much more humid so I get why they would be used. I know I haven't seen these types of backgrounds in snake enclosures much but I just thought someone may have some insight on them with regard to humidity since humidity is such a common problem.
Having to replace it isn't really the issue though. I'm wondering more about whether the effect on humidity would be worth it... Or if the effect would only be the equivalent of misting a tank (ie: just a quick fix but inefficient as a solution.)
If the effect would be minimal, then I'd rather just stick to the styrofoam way since at least it can be cleaned.
