I don't cool.
My hotspot all year stays the same. However, my ambient changes with the natural seasonal change.
Some people cool. Some don't. Its personal preference. In the end, both methods have facilitated successful breedings.
I personally don't cool because I don't want to risk my snakes getting a respiratory infection.
