Re: Pastel Enchi x Vanilla Pipping
Well that is definitely a super fire and a nice one at that. Starting from the left and going clockwise, the next two look to me like a very nice enchi and then a pastel. The one on the far right throws me. I am thinking perhaps firefly. If it's pastel enchi there sure isn't as much banding as the enchi has. Do you think you still have vanilla in play considering the super fire? You say you don't think your male is a fire. But for it to be vanilla and throw fire it would have to be a vanillla cream, and there is no way of mistaking that for either of the single gene morphs. Quite the mystery. I will stay tuned.

I agree, I see enchi, pastel, and super fire. However I think the girl on the right is a vanilla enchi.... Which doesn't make much sense, I know. I'm still waiting to hear back from the parents breeder, but when I do I should know more.

Here are pics of the parents:

I'm going to be keeping them all for a little while. I contacted the breeder of the parents and he doesn't have any clutch records unfortunately..!
I do have 5 eggs due Sept 18th from the Pastel Enchi father to a Normal girl. If the father has anything to do with what happened, I MAY have an answer. But until the girls are old enough to breed, there won't be an answer for a while.
I'll post more pics once they shed.
