one general rule:
the male must either be genetically more powerful, or monetarily more valuable, than the female. this needs to be true for all pairings. It is a direct result of the fact that males are less expensive, and that you can breed one male to several females.
simple example: compare 1 GHI superenchi male being bred to 4 normal females, compared to 1 normal male being bred to 4 GHI superenchi females.
its the same breeding results, but one is more effective.
A male orange dream would already be a mistake. If you want to invest in 2 or 3 gene females, you should look for 3 or 4 gene males as well.
and read this, its very good: http://ballpythonbreeder.com/2012/02...thon-breeders/
Yes its true, but you should try to produce nice and valuable hatchlings, and that is cheaper to accomplish if you invest more into the male genetics.Males are dime a dozen and cheap, double and triple gene fees are worth their weight in gold.
