    Eggs

Temps are stable at 89 in her tub. Humidity is about 60-70%. Eggs need near 100%. Right?

I have no one to watch over her and don't know any local breeders.

I have a lot of wholes in her tub to keep the humidity at 60-70. Should I cover up the wholes to raise humidity?

You don't want to make the female overly stressed by making her enclosure uncomfortable. If she lays while you're away, the humidity surrounding the eggs trapped within her coils will be higher than the ambient humidity and if your numbers are right you should have nothing to worry about.

    Eggs

Should I just let her incubate her owns eggs if I come home and she has them? This will be my first clutch.

Incubator is on and at temp. 88-89. Humidity 96%

That is entirely up to you but if you want to go the maternal route, be sure to read up on it. There are several of us here that do it this way but I think it's safe to say that the majority of breeders prefer to be in the driver's seat and have total control over their clutches and this isn't the case with maternally incubated clutches.

    Eggs

Well came back from camping and still no eggs she is now on day 40 after prelay shed.

She is twisted into a pretzel this morning.

    Eggs

Can you post pics? Are you sure she had her pre-lay shed? I hope she isn't egg bound.

Twisted like a pretzel is a good thing. Sounds like she is positioning the eggs so she can lay. They should be out any day now.

I will post a few pictures when I get home. Yes I'm pretty sure. She ovulated on June 15th ( looks huge like she ate a football ) prelay shed was on July 7th.
