Do you mean breeding a normal male to morphs or just any pairing with normal and a morph? I bred my spinnerblast male to 2 normal females and got only 1 normal out of 15 eggs. And I plan to do it again.
Cool stuff! My normal girl would (in the future) only get loving from multi-gene males for this reason

Yes, a lot of people have multiple normal females just because they're cheap females that can still carry eggs and pass on dom traits. I'll be breeding my adult normal to my bee when he gets to weight, and the same probably with my smaller normal since she's so clean and clear.

You can breed you males to 3-7 different females a year. Most People will throw 1-3 normal females in the mix. You usually want to breed the males to one of your project females first to better your odds of getting the multi gene/or super morph that you are aiming for, then breed him to the normals. "Rule of thumb" males should always be of equal or higher quality than the female.
Breeding a male morph to a female normal is also handy if you're a cheapskate like me and want a female of that morph Breed and pray the odd gods smile upon you!
Yeah I have a female normal (my first snake ever) and I plan on getting a 3 gene male (hopefully a fire jigsaw) to breed to her along with my mojave and butter girls.

Normal females are an invaluable asset when producing animals for sale or just producing great quality animals. I have two females that make the highest quality enchi's and people love them. I have females that make great spiders and these are all normals. So yes I have 50+/- normal females that make normals for pet's and make great quality morphs just on their own.
Great question for someone like me. So here's a question...the breeder I bought my nfbp from originally thought she might be a calico. I didn't ask anything at the time, but now I wonder, wouldn't there be a reason for her to think this at all..ie..a parent had the gene to begin with?
