    Sup folks! Lizard lover here...

I've always loved lizards (don't get me wrong I like snakes too but I'd never own one) and specifically Geckos. Even more specific... Leopard and Crested Geckos. The Gargoyles are cool too, so difficult to choose, i love their little 'horns'.

Anywho, I plan to start this hobby next summer sometime when I'm out of college and situated with an apartment and a job. I mainly plan to stick to Cresties. Might get a Leopard, depends. I don't plan to breed right away, though I'm interested in it, I want to just get used to having geckos first. However, the only place that's in my price range is Petsmart. I do not have the money to spend $300 on an animal. Ordering geckos is out too, since by the time you add in the shipping cost you're already close to, at, or past $100. Now since I know I can easily spend over $100 just getting the stuff for the tanks... yeah. I'm not looking for anything fancy but I do want nice colors.

So I have been looking at Reptile Expos and the such, but I live in Montana... which... seems to be the #1 state that is ALWAYS ignored when neat things are around. I think the best thing I've heard of that's been in Montana is Riverdance (love them). But I can't find any information on like... calenders for these events... and what I do find is 2-3 years old. Anyone know where I can keep tabs on these events? I don't have a car at the moment though I'm sure I'll get one when i get the apartment, but I don't want to go more than a day on the road. I stay in Pullman, WA with my dad during breaks now, though that'll change, and it's about a 4 hour drive from Missoula, MT where i'm going to school.
