Today's focus / concern is working on getting the tar off his actual skin; his shell is looking great except some isolated, stubborn smears. I'm particularly trying to ponder how to get his head; q-tips aren't harsh enough to stand up to the tar so that's out. I've been trapping his little feet with a lathered sponge when I give him scrubs, and that gets some off, but not as much as I'd like. The only bits I've gotten off his head, I scratched off a layer of gunk off the very top of his skull with my thumb nail.
