It was kind of an emergency rescue situation and I had grabbed an old, clean pillowcase without looking it over. I grabbed the snake and put it in and was confused when suddenly the snake was halfway out on the ground.
Keep in mind that snakes can still bite through a pillow case.
its not for venomous snakes, for venomous ones you really need the extra long but not too wide snake bags, because they can bite through it and you need extra length to get a distance to the snake in the bag when you make the knot.
But for ball pythons its fine and quite normal to use pillow cases. No need for snake hooks and the extra long specialized snake bags and that stuff.

Yes, just make sure the case is clean, and if the snake is venomous, make sure that you don't carry against your body as they can bite through the pillow case.
