    Re: Hissing

I love it too. My new tiny girl does it but I'm handling it out of her. She's had plenty of opportunity to bite me but she hasn't. Two of my other balls used to hiss.

Petey becomes a hissy missy sometimes when I go to take him out but has never bitten or struck.

My fire boy hisses if I look at him the wrong way. He's fine when I pick him up though. He used to strike at EVERYTHING, but he's getting better at that.

The rest only hiss if I accidentally bump into them when I'm spot cleaning.

Not a video, but I was in a pet store recently and this ball python hissed at me twice. He was mostly in his hide and I wasn't even messing in his tank! He seems like he'd be an interesting one.

You posted the video under the picture button, not the video button, btw.

Magnus puffs rather than hisses, for the most part-- at least, i've never heard him give out a really solid hiss. But that puffy noise makes me smile, it's like the snakey version of an exasperated sigh. Lol

    Re: Hissing

I have one that hisses when you touch her in her tub, but once she's out she's fine. OTOH another girl doesn't make a sound but will strike and nailed me in the thumb last week. So, I have one that's all talk and no action, and another that's no talk and all action...

I've only had one hiss, from my big girl. Had her four years and she hissed at me for the first time a month ago when I was lifting up the lid of her tub. I was like "no ma'am we're not starting this" lol.
