Metallic looking eyes could be stuck eye caps.

She definitely looks Mojave, and in that case, yes I believe it would be. RoseyReps would know better about the ins and outs of the morph. Heh.

The eyes are what made me wonder about Mojave. My mojo has gun metal eyes. Haven't seen any butters with them though. More pics!

Is this normal behavior? also, metallic eyes

I have a couple of pics
    this is from yesterday

&this is when I first got her

she is a butter (lesser x pinstripe I was told?)

well I am supposed to feed her tomorrow so she could be hungry.. but last time I fed her I gave her a jumbo mouse and it scared me cuz it looked a little big for her but she didn't hesitate to savagely crush that thing inside her with her neck lol (so cool but gross) and the week before that she had two small mice so this week I was thinking of just giving her one small mouse since she has been eating so much? so idk Maybe I accidentally created a hungry monster lol

She does use her hides in a funny way when she's active at night, I love it. she's got a pretty cool personality for a snake, if I do say so myself :b
oh man I would like to read that thread lol

those are awesome! yeah hers are like that too but it looks like its where her head stripe goes kinda. and they're more yellow. I hope it's not stuck eye shed but I'm pretty sure her eyes were like that before her shed, unfortunately my pictures don't really show them that well.

Not sure who told you that, but a butter is a butter, a lesser is a lesser, and a pinstripe is a pinstripe. She has about as much chance to be anything if that's what their expertise told you. There's no way she could be a butter from a lesser x pinstripe pairing - genetics just don't work that way. At best, she could be a lesser (which is incredibly similar to butter) from that pairing, but from the looks of her she's unlike any lesser or butter I've ever seen.

Well, butter/lesser and Mojave are allelic, so perhaps the gun metal eyes can appear in both morphs. She definitely has the coloring of butter/lesser. Killer dorsal too

It could be that any of the BEL complex have the ability to have the gun metal grey/blue eyes. It's a neat trait that I don't see too terribly often, makes for a wicked looking snakey that's for sure!

How often are you feeding her? Once a week or once every 5 days? Also, "big mouse" to you could be a normal mouse to me. I like to weigh my snakes/rodents so I know they're getting the 10-15% body weight. Or at least I did in the beginning, now I just eye ball it. Too many snakes to weigh every rat before feeding

Get that girl on rats so you don't have to feed 4-5+ mice at a feeding when she's 2kg+!

I think she's got the right coloring for a butter/lesser, and honestly, Butter = Lesser, but that is very much debated in the hobby. She's dark for a butter/lesser, but it could just be your lighting.

Let's put it this way, she's either a dark butter, or a light mojave
