So you candled it and didn't see veins so you just tossed it?
Even if you don't see veins why not throw it in the bator until it goes bad?
I've heard more than once that people don't see veins right away, but they still develop within a couple days.

Oh no, I didn't toss the boob as my thoughts were "what if" as well. The slug that's on the bottom was tossed and triple checked before that happened too. Crossing the fingers that one develops into something.
