    Incubator

Hey guys, currently in the process of building my own incubator.

The one thing I am not sure about is whether to use heat cable or heatmats?

Does one work better than the other?

    Thanks!

Both will get the job done inside the incubator.

It really just comes down to preference, but the majority of the community uses heat tape. (heat pads)

I've seen it done both ways. I prefer flexwatt/thg just because I use it for everything I have.

I'm using THG heat tape because that's what I use on my racks and it can be taped flush to the incubator. It also has pretty uniform heating.

Thanks! I've gone with heat cable purely because we don't get heat tape in the uk. Just heat mats which aren't the most flexible

I just built one using flex watt. I prefer it over the cable. Personal preference.

Without having access to flexwatt I think the cable is a better choice over the heat mats.
Make sure you post pics once you get it done!
