    One other question for you guys about the herpstat 2, I know it comes with 2 sensor probes, but how long are their cords and how long is the outlet cord (the one to plug the thermostat into the power source)?

    They come with 12 foot probes and a 6 foot AC cord. ( The AC cord is a standard computer type power cord, and can be replaced with a longer or shorter one if needed.
