can the weight of my snake tell me how old he is? what are some signs of shedding besides the haze eyes?
You can't really tell how old your snake is based on it's weight. Snakes ages and weights vary. A pink belly is one way of telling if the snake is going into shed and the skin will look very dull also.
Weight can give a very rough estimate but every snake grows at its own rate. Some BP's make it really apparent when they are about to shed, while others are hard to spot. Some signed to look for are: 1. Pink belly 2. Dulled colors 3. Agrivated behavior 4. Blue tinge to the snake 5. Blue eyes
