    I WANNA HOLD THEM! (pix)

....But they've gotta acclimate, and being a good herp mama, I'm leaving 'em alone...

I did snap some pix on the way home with them. They're two more *special* babies. Cacao has a couple tail kinks (possibly genetic) and Carob is...well, really really screwed up. Apparently when she was bred she went into crazy calcium crash, and has some really severe MBD. She looks like a muppet...her severe deformities make me sad, but also make her incredibly cute... in a sad way.

Are you keeping them seperated? I wouldn't recommend keeping them together because they will breed and any gecko with a hint of MBD needs to be pet only.

lol, yes, they're separated, definitely. I took these guys in knowing full well they should never ever be bred. Plus they're both girls...sooo...might be a little hard. They'll eventually live together again, but in a really big planted viv. And again- both females.

Thanks guys! I love 'em. Even if I can never breed them, they're bringing me a lot of joy. Not siblings, just friends. Carob is actually 3 years old, and Cacao isn't even 1!

I love cresties when they don't have a tail and just have the lil nub. Reminds me of boxer and I think they look cuter that way. Congrats on those two pickups.
