    Splatter update

This morning I received some interesting news from Tony W (python regius) Tony bred his male yellow splatter to a pastel female and produced normal, pastel splatters, maybe yellow pastel splatters, splatters and yellow splatters. So basically from breedings done to date we have
Splatter x normal = splatters, normals
Splatter x splatter = splatters, yellow splatters
Splatter x yellow splatter = splatters, yellow splatters, super type splatter
Yellow splatter x none splatter gene = normal, splatters, yellow splatters.

To say I am confused is an under statement but I must say I am very excited about this happening. It's plain to see the splatter gene is not following the genetics as we know it. It's going to be a very excitable couple of years ahead for all those working with the splatter gene. Any ideas.

Tony is going to wait until they have all shed and settled before taking pics.
