    Crested Gecko Moving Questions

I'm getting two crested geckos next week, but I am moving in December so I'm trying to figure things out now so I'm not scrambling come then (spent the day calling around for pet store selling feeders and all that). Anyways, when moving with Crested Geckos, if its going to be a two day drive, should I feed them during the trip or no? I think not, because of the amount of stress, but i don't want to make the wrong choice. So, should I feed during the trip? How should I transport them? I've heard shoeboxes with holes, as well as pencil boxes with holes? Thanks for any and all recommendations!

I would highly suggest you purchase crested gecko diet (CGD) to feed your geckos. Bugs alone are not nutritious enough for them. As far as the move goes, I would purchase some plastic sterilite bins from Walmart and put 10 or so holes in them. The important thing to remember is to always keep them below 82Farenheit. If you feed them CGD there is no reason why you couldn't feed them during the move.

I'm planning on Crested Gecko Diet as well as crickets. A combo of both because thats what everyone is saying is the best choice. So, just during the move do CGD but no crickets. Good plan! I can pull that off. What size would you recommend container? Thanks!
