    I'm new to all this but from all the hours I've spent reading/researching etc. here is my opinion... two fires, one of which (with more blushing) is an AWESOME example of the gene and the last is a nice black-backed normal. Possibly some cool genetic stuff going on with the mother. I would try pairing her to genes that tend to lighten, or add blushing. If she keeps throwing black backs you'll produce some really neat looking stuff! Is she a poss het?? Congrats on the clutch they're all gorgeous thanks for sharing!

    Is that black-backed male?
