I'm loving the Cougar! (Spark Spider)

WOW! The cougar is awesome! We just hatched out a male cougar the other day. He's super bright, super clean, and super reduced! I'll update after he sheds and eats a few meals, too, but I need to share him sooner than that....I have little patience when I'm excited about a new baby we hatch out.

Anyway, he's gorgeous! It's WAY better than I thought it would be. Funny/Lucky/Awesome thing about it is that out of 9 eggs, this is the only one that got the spider gene, and we hit the combo! WooHoo!

Lots of BPs, and still not enough!

This is addictive...what did I get myself into?...

This would be so much better if it were a female and you later bred her to a really small young male.

hahaha. It actually took me a minute to get that... I don't know if many breeders have tried for this combo. I do know the one who produced it first only has females. Maybe he'll wait til they're 10 years old before he pairs them, and gets them to pair with a 4 month old male... hahahaha

It's a Spark Spider. A Spark is also a het Puma--the spark makes a puma when combined with the YellowBelly. We've produced one puma so far. It's funny that we've been trying for that for a couple seasons and finally have one, and it's so-so to me. I thought it was pretty cool in pics, but in person, it's just not high on my list now. The cougar and the lesser sparks that we made, though, are killer!

It's sometimes a brightening morph when crossed with others. It can also change pattern. Look up the grenade (spark fire). The spark is definitely a cool morph to add in to combos.
