    Your probes are in the wrong places.

    The thermostat probe needs to be attached to the UTH itself.

    The thermometer probe needs to be on the floor of the cage directly over the UTH.

    UTH's only heat the surface they touch. They aren't going to heat the air in the cage whatsoever. For this you will need a heat lamp or a fluorescent light.

    You might have to switch to a different substrate, or dry the mulch in the oven. I know in my AP cages if I use any sort of mulch substrate my humidity goes through the roof.

    Vision cages can be difficult to heat, but once you get everything set up and dialed in you shouldn't have too many issues.
