    bp stuck?

My girl is curled up in one of her tighter holes. She's kinda in there tight. I rubbed her back and she rippled. Her head is up in the hide. She crawled up in there last night. She's about four months old so is she just getting ready to shed? I haven't seen her eyes cuz she's been hiding a lot latley, but she ate just fine Friday night. Could she be stuck or just getting ready. To shed?

What kind of hide are you using? There should no way for your snake to get stuck?? So you might want to look into that and change what you are using. I bet she is not stuck though, and will come out, check at night.

    Re: bp stuck?

hard to describe it really. Its basically a branch(fake from the store) and it has like 5or 6 hidey holes in it. The one at the top is the o e she's in arm. She gets in there a lot but my ex was all like she's stuck damnit she's stuck. I told him to leave her alone she was fine. I think she's just hiding.

Yeah, I would wait her out, and when she comes out remove it, use something else, like a plastic bowl with an opening cut in the side, or a kitten cat litter pan, with an opening. There are also many natural looking things and also commercial hides for snakes. You do not want something you cant just lift up and get at the animal. Things like this and this

She's not stuck. I coaxed her out enough for her to pull her head out a glare at me.lol. Then she went right back in....

If its the one I think it is from the chain pet stores, I waited until my baby girl came out and promptly chopped off that piece. Sanded the edges of course. She still loves that hide but can't get stuck now.
