    New guy

Picked up this little guy at the SC show last weekend. He is currently in the QT so one quick pic. I couldn’t get much info on him.

An update pic of one of the girls. I am wowed by the changes they go through as they grow.

It's terrible that they keep these animals and don't even know how to take care of them... Oh well it's just how some of pet stores are.Beautiful snake by the way. Well I would advise having a warm and a cool side. The cool side being 76-80 and the warm side being 84-87. Corn snakes like to burrow so have something like reptibark or aspen and have lots of hides.

No, it’s not that terrible. I got him from a vender at the Repticon Columbia South Carolina show. I guess it’s not such a great picture, but he is a Carpet Python. The reason I said I couldn’t get much info is because I believe that he is an intergrade (Carpet Python only of course). The vender was not the breeder so could not give me info on percentages, lineage and such. He was labeled as a Jungle Jaguar, this I believe to be correct. So all I can say is that he is an unknown Jungle Jaguar. He is a very good looking unknown in my opinion. He does have a heat gradient, two small hides and a small perch. He likes to perch on top of the little hide boxes. He was slightly dehydrated so he drank a lot of water when we got home and we set him up (was a long drive). His humidity is good so that will no longer be an issue. He has already taken his first meal for me so he can’t be too unhappy.
We did also pick up a Ball Python and a little Corn snake so thank you for the corn snake info, it will come in handy. I will post up some pic’s of the others soon.

I know SOME pet stores just don't know what their doing. That's why I want to get a job at my local petco to show them how to care for snakes.
