Why can't stuff like this make the news, especially world news? People have to dig or stumble to find awesome stories of inspiration and general do-goodery in the small corners of the internet and many never see the light of day. Honestly, I'd like to see my local news station do 1 full half hour of nothing but good news for once and I bet they couldn't do it. But on the flip side, most people who do good for others probably don't want the recognition, praise, or attention. They want to do good for others and feel good about it, then go home. They aren't attention seekers, they just have good/big hearts. Then again, I could be wrong.
