You can't really judge by pics, either. Most adult axanthics look brown in pics. They are hard to photograph well.

In my personal experience, most axanthics will brown out over time. That is why we went with black axanthics from Justin kobylka.

went to his site and checked it out .. amazing snake but does it stay like that as it ages? if so i might have to get one .. how old is yours and can u throw some pics up so i can see how it looks over time .. thanks

This is very true. I think most look much better in person.
