Ok I see what happened now. Im sorry that you did not get to keep your snake but im glad your mom did the right thing and took your snake back to the store rather than releasing it! BTW if it gives you a bit of hope not all snakes at petco wind up having bad lives. I bought my first two ball pythons from Petco ( now I only buy from reputable breeders) and am happy to say that they are alive and well and happy as ever, so there is a chance that your boy my end up in a good home too.
