Tapatalk picture preview frustration.

Maybe i'm just missing something in the settings? i have the original tapatalk, not tapatalk 2, but if this problem isn't an issue in tapatalk 2 i'll definitely make the switch. ok, so pictures uploaded with tapatalk or imageshack or various other photo upload websites seem to work fine when i tap them. a larger resolution version of the picture pops up with the solid black background. tapatalks little built in "image previewer," but whenever i tap on an image that was uploaded with photobucket, it takes me out of the app and onto photobucket's web site. the images are always lower quality and its a pain to switch back to the tapatalk app. not to mention, half the time theres an ad i have to watch before clicking a little x so i can get to actually viewing this crappy low-res photo through photobuckets website..

the thing is though, if there are multiple pictures on the same page and im able to open one that wasnt used with photobucket, i can side swipe to a picture that was uploaded through photobucket and still view it in the tapatalk previewer.

anyone have a fix for this or will upgrading to tapatalk 2 fix this? its rather quite annoying..

you can double click your home button and it opens all your running apps so you can easily switch back to tapatalk after it takes you away to photobucket. but I agree, this is annoying.

i know that.. you can actually set it up in the tapatalk settings to where it opens up URLs inside the tapatalk app, which i've done. it still takes me to photobuckets web site, but does so inside the tapatalk app, so all i have to do is hit back. not as much of a pain as switching apps, but still a pain to have to watch a little ad.. and i just hate how low res the pictures are on photobuckets mobile page for some reason. thats my real issue. i wanna be able to zoom in on the pictures and check out these dope snakes. but photobucket says no..

I didn't have time to read/comprehend this post when you first made it but YESSSSSS, FREAKIN YESSS. It enrages me. It is the biggest pain in the ass in the world. I was honestly considering making a post about it because it was annoying me so much. Its so bad that i actually know in my head certain people who don't upload pics like that. Like i KNOW every one of doolittles and 3skulls pics are normal and wont link me to something else. Most of liv's pics are good but then she must have uploaded some through photobucket because the other day i clicked on one and BOOM i'm instantly pissed because i cant view the pics. The ads that pop up are these stupid videos where i cant hear the sound and theres no box to ex out of. Some of Sanscera's pics are fine but then him too, musta uploaded some through photobucket, because i got screwed out of viewing some of his pics the other day too.

Photobucket changed the img URL to automatically link it back. If people dont remove those tags then you get taken to photobucket when you click the pic. It bugs me when people don't remove the linking tags too. Bugs me more that photobucket changed it to that.

So now people have to get the regular link and add the img tags themselves, or remove the linking tags from the other URL.

I'm on my phone so I'm hoping this makes sense...

I thought it was just something I had set up wrong in Tap a Talk. It drives me crazy. If someone has posted pictures I usually way till I can get to my laptop to open those threads, of course I have stupid window 8 on my laptop and that is an entire issue in itself. I don't have tapatalk 2 so I can't say if it is better with it or not

Theres a new update out for tapatalk 4 beta on the play store, meant to fix the picture issue.
