    Really light normal?

Made a trip into the city today and I picked up this guy. I noticed him right away in the cage with the rest of the normals as he was way lighter than any of the others, like a lot lighter. Even the clerk of the store took him out and looked puzzled, commenting that he was definitely not normal.

He had just eaten yesterday but he weighed in at 928g.

The pic with the flash makes him look insane! But the others he just looks like a normal. But who knows ! Good luck with him.

    Re: Really light normal?

Yea the lighting inside sucks. I'll take him out in natural light tomorrow for a better shot.

If it isn't a documented morph, then breed it and make it one. I'm betting something like that is a vanilla or fire. I'm no expert though.
I'd fatten him up a bit too...

That's been the general consensus thus far. I had a long time breeder tell me that he was either a vanilla or a fire. I just need to find a female of either of those for the fall season.

Good luck finding a female that'll be ready this upcoming season! I would definitely look for a fire and cross my fingers for some supers.

It's hard to tell from those pics, but it kind of looks to me like he has the splotchy "bleached" look they can get some times. I'd bet that he returns to a normal color after a few sheds.
