2006 Pastel and Pic Request :)

Took my oldest outside a few days ago, figured I should finally get around to posting them. Magneto (named by my boyfriend, I swear!) is just two months shy of his 7th birthday, I came home with him in Oct 2006, and has weighed in the general vicinity of 1700 grams for the last two years. Plus or minus 50 grams, depending on the time of year. He's right around 4 ft in length and is just naturally lanky. He was my first ball python. And not as yellow as he used to be. I think of him as a solid "C" for his age.

Anyway, pic request! I'd love to see other folks' full adult morphs, five years old and better. Just think it'd be neat to give the older animals some bandwidth.

I agree. I don't have any that old myself, but you just don't see too many people posting their older snakes.

I hope this thread takes off!

My oldest, although I have not had him his whole life, supposedly around 7 now. My browned out (he is strictly a pet) sweet as pie pastel boy.

Here's my 2008 female with her 2012 daughter - picture taken in 2013. I'd say they're in the 2000g and 600g range, respectively. I love my 2008 pastel, was the first BP morph I bought and as far as I'm concerned is a top quality pastel. She was very yellow her first couple years but has gradually darkened with size. Instead of the darker brown you see some pastels get she's more of a creamy color - which I dig.

Thanks she is my favorite girl, my very first breeding project that started with buying a pair of hets back in 06 and I produced this girl in 2009.

She is actually being paired this season so when she is gonna lay her eggs I will have come full circle.

Love her so much that my logo was created using her picture
