That is one super sexy Pastel! For a pet store pickup, I think you got a smashing deal. His blushing is fantastic along his back. Unfortunately, without breeding trials or definite signs of het markers, there is no way to know what Thor could be het for. From what I can see of him (I did look through all the pics, great photography, btw!), he doesn't look like he'd be specifically het for anything. Then again, I am definitely no expert on BP hets and so I could not say for definite sure. Without a doubt, you definitely saved this little guy, because his earliest pic made me cringe. Congrats on a really beautiful guy!

Thank you. I would like to take a shot at breeding in a year or so. I'm still learning, and researching but I think I should have a decent handle on the overall process when I do finally decide to dive in. I definitely would like to try and breed Thor.

My little one shed a few days ago so I thought I would post the pics I snapped of her today during are hangout session. The pictures where taken with my phone so they aren't great. Enjoy.

Awesome snake. Congrats on the rescue and rehab. He is looking a lot better than that earlier pic after the first feeding.

Thank you. He's an awesome BP. I think the problem they where having when I picked him up is feeding him f/t. He will not take f/t whatsoever and I don't think they where willing to switch him to live. :/ it's fine by me. It's a little more work but he's absolutely worth it. I still try and offer f/t from time to time but he's doesn't even seem to react to it. That being the case I have to supervise every feeding. It typically takes less then a minute or two for him to snag up live though so I can't complain. I'm not absolutely positive but I'm fairly sure he is actually a she. Me and the gf have renamed him Pi since then but I still have to get him probed to know for certain. I popped but she is large enough to control her tail muscles well enough to have made it difficult. She had no visible hemipenes and scent glands along the side. One again I would like to have a professional probe to be sure but until then we feel the name Pi is a neutral enough name.

Pi popped her head out to say hello. She seemed content to lounge like this so I took the opportunity to snap a pic.
