    Talking Day 41...laying!

Just when I was about to give up on my girls EVER laying, I got up this morning and caught my Cinnamon girl in the act! Will post better pics when the rest are out (Bit of a rushed job in the dark, haha)

My spider girl is only a day behind her and looking fit to burst, so hopefully another clutch is on it's way soon.

First ever eggs for me (and the girls!). Both were paired to my butter pastel boy.

    Thanks for looking!

All out, 4 big healthy eggs totalling 440g. Mum didn't wrap the eggs at all, seemed a little confused by it all, though all 4 have good veins when candled.

    Day 41...laying!

Congrats Ben! Those are two nice pairings. I'm on day 35 for my first clutch ever and my cinny girl looks like shes gunna lay any minute. It relieves me a bit to see that not all snakes follow that "30 day average" rule haha!

    Re: Day 41...laying!

Ok, so in all my excitement this morning I didnt even think to check my het pied girl... who was sitting neatly wrapped around her clutch when I went change her water this evening!

Sadly, as I had kind of expected from palpating her last week, she majorly slugged out. Only 1 definitely fertile 75g egg and 1 probably/maybe/notquitesurebutIreallyhopeso egg, and 4 lovely yellow slugs. Obviously a little disappointing but chuffed to have my second clutch and that mum is healthy.

She was paired to my Pastel het pied boy, so please join me in praying to the mighty Odd-Gods in asking that they bless me with a pied!
