Bedding for Mice???

I am new on the forum so if this isn't allowed please let me know...

I have a friend that currently uses the eco earth loose coconut fiber as a bedding for her mice.. Is this a safe bedding to use and what would be some pros and cons? Any thoughts? Thanks..

I guess it all depends what your purpose for the mice are. I know quite a few people use some type of Aspen.

She uses it for her breeders. I have my own breeders also but I use aspen shavings. I've never heard or seen anyone use it for breeders so I was just curious if it was good for them and the snake that is eating the offspring.?
