    There is debate about lights in general but no one knows if red lights bother them. They have heat pits and a heat emitter and a red nocturnal bulb are both going to be visible because they "see" any form of heat. Red nocturnal bulbs do not bother snakes at night like a white or blue day time bulb..
    All I meant is that you shouldn't post your tank to another new person and say your tank should look like this, that's all I meant. I wouldn't run a red bulb regardless.
