my 2010 male hypo hog boa

for

2012 female fire pinstripe ball



I've been looking to sell or trade my hypo because I'm just not into boas like I used to be. He is a looker.

Do you have a picture of the pin/fire? Also, do you have any fires or pin females already?

I personally think that fire/pins are a good combo to have since both are ingredients to really nice snakes. I don't know anything about Boas, so I'm not sure how good a trade it is

I have a male fire, but no pinstripes. I'm waiting on pictures of the pin fire which I know will be a deciding factor. I just wanted some opinions on first instinct (like if the deal was no way worth it).

I searched around trying to find pricings and everything varried quite a bit. I know both fire and pinstripe aren't worth a ton themselves (maybe $200 for female fire and $200 for female pinstripe), so I'm estimating a female fire pin would be somewhere around $500 at least, also depending on quality.
In the boa world, hypos aren't worth a ton (I'd say $100 for a low quality hypo male or female). Hypo hogs are seen a little less often and worth IMO around $200 at least.
But I believe my male is of high quality and better than the general population of hypos/hypo hogs. Not saying he is the ultimate best by any means, but he is definitely a good quality example and will throw clean, high colored babies.

If your trading away something your not really interested in and getting back something you are. then it's a good trade if the money matches or not.

Yea, if you like the trade and the way the snake looks then go for it. Value isn't always the deciding factor as long as it's semi close, especially since you'd be letting your boa go to a home that has experience with snakes.

From a value stand point you are coming out ahead. Also fire and pin are good combo genes to have in females, so she will always fit in your breeding plans. I think its a win all the way around.
