    Smile Any otakus out there?

in case you don't know an otaku is someone who is an anime fan, the term is usually reserved for the extremely hardcore fans. I am a huge otaku, so if you are just say so and a list of some of your favorite animes. one of my favorites is one piece, especially the episodes with boa hancock, if you don't know boa hancock is the snake princess who lives on an island where there are only women, and where they are fierce warriors where strength is beauty, and they all have snakes which can transform into weapons basically, all mostly big snakes

I am a big anime fan but I won't go as far as saying Otaku. To me that is reserved for the people who cosplay on weekends.

Right now, as far as new stuff goes, I am watching Attack on Titan, Arata the Legend, and SNAFU on Crunchyroll.

From the last year of so, I have enjoyed:

    • Sword Art Online
    • Is This A Zombie?
    • Haganai
    • The Pet Girl of Sakura Hall
    • The World God Only Knows
    • Blast of Tempest
    • VividRed Operation
    • I Don't Have Many Friends
    • Ixion Saga
    • Waiting For The Summer

    All Time Favorites:

    • DragonballZ
    • Trigun
    • Gundam Wing
    • Baka and Test
    • Inuyasha
    • Rurouni Kenshin
    • Tenchi Muyo (the main storyline; Not Universe or Tenchi In Tokyo)
    • Tenchi Muyo: War On Geminar
    • High School of the Dead
    • Ranma 1/2
    • Claymore

I used to be really into anime in high school..cosplay, conventions, the whole 9 yards... but now I just watch a few shows here and there.

Currently watching Attack on Titan which is AWESOME!!!!! but not for children.. It is very scary.. and graphic.

I also liked Mirai Nikki, also kinda dark and not for children.. lol

I was a hardcore Otaku in high school. Not so much any more.

I watched fansubbed or original format Anime. I can't stand English Dub. I read and used to collect Japanese Manga. A lot of my favorites were translated by Viz, so I rarely read the American version. Viz translations were really horrible and inaccurate for a long time. Not sure about now....
I went to Anime Cons and cosplayed. I did a lot of digital art and sold them at conventions too.

    Some personal favorites:
    - Fullmetal Alchemist
    - Code Geass
    - Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny
    - Naruto (manga only)
    - Death Note (manga only)
    - D. Gray-Man (manga only)
    - Tennis no Oujisama
    - Card Captor Sakura
    - Elfen Lied
    - Rurouni Kenshi Trust and Betrayal/Samurai X (not a fan of the actual show)
    - Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (manga only)
    - Loveless
    - Kurosagi (manga and live action)
    - Battle Royale
    - Team Medical Dragon
    - Hana Yori Dango (live action)
    - Dragon Zakura (live action)
    - Zettai kareshi
    - Digimon (my childhood love! haha)
