Boa observation
I havnt had my RTB all that long (all of about 3 weeks now), but even in the short time i've had him i have noticed how content he seems to hang out.
I suppose what i mean is how different his temperment is then a BP. He's far more calm and relaxed, when i have him out of his tub he isnt looking for a place to hide. He is more apt to just curl up...or explore a little, but not trying to find a place to hide. I love my BP's, but this little RTB certainly has me captivated! I cant wait till he starts to get bigger. This might turn into an even bigger addiction then it already is!
Any thoughts?

Re: Boa observation
BCI's tend to be alot more confident than BP's. I got lucky with my bp as he never coils into a ball, he doesnt care what i do to him. But its seems like typical bci behavior. My BCI never uses his hide in his tub and its a pretty regular thing with BCI's to not use hides. Some people will even remove the hides from their enclosures when they are older because they will never use them.

Re: Boa observation
I just picked up a tiny Hogg Island Boa female and I have noticed the same thing. It is kind of weird because I have never owned a boa, just bps, corns and kings. I'm excited to see how things go as she grows up!

Just got mine three weeks ago! Double het Snow. I'm starting a breeding project and want to produce my own snow! BCI's are much more curious and confident, it's amazing!
