    Python on the loose

Woman releases python at mobile-home park. Besides the fact she wanted to run it over with a lawn mower, I couldn't help but laugh at the people in this video.

Wow. Just wow. Please please please take animals to a shelter or something, don't release them. I hate stupid people.

    Re: Python on the loose

some people make me sad. the ones that are not afraid of snakes but totaly irresponsible. Why didn't the lady just put it up for rehoming on CL or something. then the people in the trailer park scared of snakes. The 4 foot burmese python wouldn't have hurt that little boy

Would most animal shelters even try and rehome it??
i know they have a hard time getting food and stuff for their regular animals, let alone rats weekly for a Python...

it never says in the video what kind of "PYTHON" it is. lol yes the video preview image is a burm but they don't say, and judging from how ignorant everyone in the story seems to be about snakes i doubt the picture means anything. it was probably a ball, in which case that small child is in no danger.

Wait, wait wait. Guns and knives ready? Really? Wow that is some serious stupidity. I'd actually prefer if that lawnmower ran over the woman, that way the world would be rid of an ignorant person.

They have so many people that could of taken that snake, I mean shelters or pet stores are an option. If all else failed people are always looking for snake on craigslist.

One major pet peeved of mine is when people are like "AWW DANGIT A PYTHON GET THE GUNZ AND KNIVEZZ!!!!" as if they're slaying dragons.
It's only 4 1/2 feet. That's not even big for a snake. We didn't need to go commando over burms in the everglades, why would we need to for this 4 foot sausage? As far as the kids go, it would take a snake well over 20 ft to actually consider a toddler a potential meal. And a fat 20 footer. Honestly, you guys know often that happens. Only retics average at ≤20 ft. And they're the slimjims of the pythons.

    Python on the loose

Howdy y'all! I reckon we should get the knives and guns since there is a dangerous 4.5 foot ball python on the loose. Ignorance is bliss I guess....

Can anyone else actually hear the helicopters overhead while babies cry and deadbolts are locked firmly into place, checked and then checked again?
