F 10 directions
I'm disinfecting my tubs and seem to have lost the mixing instructions. I washed everything with dish soap and want to spray down with f10 but can't remember ratio.

Re: F 10 directions
Do I have to dry tubs before spraying and do I just let f10 air dry and do I not put into drinking bowls

1 liter is a little more then 32oz so 3 ml in the quart bottle is what I do. I wash then dry then soak the tubs and let them sit for 15 minutes. then I dump out whatever remaining liquid is there and done. the instructions say leave it soak for 10 minutes I just leave em for 15. I do the same for the water bowls but I rinse them with fresh water after the f10. the tubs I just pour out and that's it.

Gives the dilution ratios and contact times depending on what you need to kill.

Here's what I do:
5ml F10 in a 1L spray bottle with room temperature filtered water.
1. Remove hides and water dish from cage
2. Remove any solid waste and substrate
3. Spray down the entire cage with F10 and let stand for 20 minutes
4. Empty water dish and spray with F10
5. Spray the hides with F10 if needed
6. Wipe up F10 in cage
7. Throughly rinse the water bowel until I can't smell F10 any longer
8. Refill water dish and set the cage back up.
(While each cage is soaking for 20 minutes I start on the next)

F10s instructions for hard surfaces;
1. Remove loose debris and wash down with water,
2. Scrub using a nylon brush using f10scdx or F919, rinse,
3. saturate with F10sc (check dilution contact time)
4. dry if necessary.
F10 recommends their own cleaners, F10scxd, F919, or scrub. I am not sure it is critical to use their own product but what is certain is washing with soap/detergent first is critical. This holds for all disinfectants surfaces must be washed down before disinfectants applied.
My dilutions and contact times for various actions,
light routine cleaning 1:500 (f10sc:water) 5 min saturated (snake room surfaces)
Regular cleaning (water bowls ect.) 1:250 10 min saturated
Heavy monthly cleaning 1:125 15min saturated
Quarantine cleaning 1:125 30 min saturated. (F10 may not dry out. during contact time so longer times need reapplication)

F10ŽSC is used for effective and safe general disinfection of all hard surfaces (such as tables, floors and cages), and for animal housekeeping procedures (such as the cleaning of food and water bowls and bedding). F10ŽSC can be sprayed on and left to disinfect after cleaning.
The recommended dilution rates of F10ŽSC - These dilution rates mean that F10 is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant ranges on the market.
General disinfection at 1:500 (2ml in 1 litre)
High level disinfection against bacteria, fungi and most viruses at 1:250 (4ml to 1 litre)
For use against the most resistant viruses such as Parvovirus or PBFD at 1:125 (8ml in 1 litre)
