    Is it an Ovulation??

Is my spider BP in ovulation??She bred with a pastel April 4th, and she ate just a small rat mid-april, then she stopped to eat.And she still refuse food.
This morning she was like that, like she ate a big rat, i had almost no batteries on my phone couldn't use the flash.

Now 12 hours later, i think it's less visible.

what do you think? Also She shed june 8th, although she's refusing food since April.

    Talking Finally Eggs!

Come back to work and found her with 6 eggs
I put them in the incubator, temps 31°C, and the humidity is now around 75%, is it high enough?
I can't close the lid of the shoe box cause of an egg, so i let it open in the styrofoam incubator.

Describe the incubator to us. The humidity should probably be higher than 75% but the meters are notoriously bad. Is there condensation forming on the walls or lid at all? That's a good indication that it's high enough.

    The temp is fine.

    Congrats!

Congrats! And personally if it were me Id CAREFULLY peel that egg off n set it somewhere else in the box so you can still close the lid.

    Re: Is it an Ovulation??

that's either an ovulation or a beer belly! congratz and if you can't close the lid on the egg tub cause of an egg. go get another tub that you will be able to close, this is important. you don't want to lose a clutch of eggs over a tub that's not that much! good luck don

The incubator i made is a styrofoam box, i ve put a heat man inside, then a big recipient with water,
then the shoe box with eggs in the recipient, in a way that it doesn't touch the water.
Eggs are on wet vermiculite, i could not find a plastic grid.
Humidity is now 76% and 31.8 on the humidity/thermometer and 31.9 on the stat.
When i was testing the incubator i used just water (substrateless) and a box with drilled holes over it, and i had 100% humidity, but i don't feel confident with eggs on a hard surface, condentation on the bottom of the eggs, so i used vermiculite...
