hello,
i have always wanted a boa, mainly a red tail boa, but, im guessing my parents wouldnt let me, due to the size they get, and like, how you have to have more than one person to handle it.
but are there any boas that dont get tooooooooo big? can you please name them, and maybe show a picture, if its not too much to ask?
thanks a lot

Hogg island boas are real sweet looking, whitish. Mmmm. Not too big either.

Well, there are "dwarf" BCI's like Central American boas, Sonoran desert boas, Hog Island boas, Cuban boas, etc. Are you looking SPECIFICALLY for Boa constrictors, or are you looking for a boa in general, like a Rosy boa or Kenyan Sand boa? Both of those don't get big at all, I think max is like 3-4 feet if that.

I have a pair of Sonorans and they will only get 4-5 feet. Many of the BCI subspecies stay smaller than the Columbians. The largest of the Boa Constrictors are the BCCs.....not a good beginner boa anyway. Like Jennifer mentioned, Rosies or Kenyans are also an option as they are easy to care for and stay small.
