rack idea, input appreciated

Looking to build a rack, thinking of going with 4-15qt tubs, 4-32qt tubs. Is it okay to skip smaller 6qts, i dont think its that much of a jump? How long does a BP usually remain in a 6qt anyways? Also for 41qt's i think i've got plenty of time to decide on one of those.

I go straight to 15qt with two reptile basics hides. As they get bigger I pull one hide, and when big enough, they go to the 32qt.

Awesome so, two small hides, round water dish in the middle, flexwatt under the tubs on herpstat should do.

Few comments, it has always seemed to me that given the time it takes and the effort using low quality materials makes little sense. Particle boards in every flavour are the worst material on the market. I would avoid them and spend the small amount extra to buy anything else. The issues of out gassing (formaldehyde and/or phenols) low moisture resistance, and very poor weigh to strength is enough to avoid it.

The other thing gets glossed over here a lot. You do know that generally speaking racks get ambient air temps most from the room temp. If the room temp is too far off of your preferred ambient air temps often the room needs to be heated some. There are other ways but they can be difficult.

You for sure could skip the small tubs. I know, using my own experience as an example, that using small tubs is more of a space saver. In the spring I fill my hatchling racks, which hold roughly 120 snakes (not this spring though, hopefully next). Anyways. 120 small tubs obviously take up a lot less room. I don't hold them all back. The holdbacks eventually go into larger bins.

The point of my rant, lol, is that larger bins/tubs are just fine

Typically an oil filled heater on a thermostat like a ranco or johnson.
