    Its possible. But not recommended for new keepers.

    I personally have housed 2 females of the same age and size together for a little less than a year as a personal experiment last year. Never had issues with either being aggressive or going off feed. Both grew 600-900g each and are my strongest feeders in fact.

    They're housed individually before and after the study.
