Thank you guys for. Helping out. I just went an checked on him and the pinkness is almost gone now. I will order those thermometers though, thank you very much. Until I order it though I just put a thicker layer of bedding in his house over the heat pad just to be safe

Turn the heatpad off until you get a thermostat, as porcelain doll says. Seriously. I hope im not breaking any rules posting this, but it will give you an idea of exactly just how much you NEED a thermostat
