The general rule of thumb is that any place that isn't used to being rubbed will hurt more than others.

i.e. Your forearms are used to being rubbed against various things, as are the palm of your hands and what not. This is why when trying to feel how hot something you're supposed to use the back of your hand versus the palm. The reason is because if something is hot enough to cause a burn and you touch it with the palm of your hand, by the time it registers it's usually too late and you've already burned yourself. If you use the back of your hand, it's way more sensitive so you feel the heat immediately thus you don't get burned. I do mechanic work on the side, so just a piece of advice for ever dealing with heat as well, lol.
