Might just be the angle of the photo but that girl looks awful skinny to be trying to breed.

I had a female that I was trying to get her follicles stimulated. so I placed a male in with her. she was moving around the tub, tail wagging. next morning saw a good lock. few days later, I ultrasound this female. she only had about 6 to 8 mm follicles. 9 months pairing even if they were locking the whole time. yes I can see this happening.
