Not much to discuss, the pastel gene is the same. There are potentially thousands of others genes that effect the looks of the snake that contribute to the " _____ line has ______ traits" comments, but that only holds true for so long until those potential genes are mixed and bred out with other stuff that is not the founding animal. Same goes for every other morph.

This - some are bred for blushing, some for color, pattern, etc. In the end there are so many haphazard breeders in this hobby breeding whatever to whatever with no regard for the polygenic traits that I think a lot of lines get lost. Get a lemon pastel from kevin and get a citrus pastel from amir and you'll be able to tell the difference immediately. Get either from Joe Schmo's basement breeding operation 10 generations down the line of breeding whatever is on hand to whatever is on hand and they'll be nearly identical.
