You for sure could skip the small tubs. I know, using my own experience as an example, that using small tubs is more of a space saver. In the spring I fill my hatchling racks, which hold roughly 120 snakes (not this spring though, hopefully next). Anyways. 120 small tubs obviously take up a lot less room. I don't hold them all back. The holdbacks eventually go into larger bins.

The point of my rant, lol, is that larger bins/tubs are just fine
